Study of deformation behaviors of martensitic steel quenched at ultralow temperature

摘要

A sandwiched structure made of alternate layers of martensitic and austenitic steel has been quenched in both water and liquid nitrogen, and their deformation behaviors have been investigated via uniaxial tensile loading with an elongation of more than 40%. It demonstrates that quenching temperature, compared with the large-strain tensile deformation, has an even more significant influence on the improvement of the mechanical properties of martensitic steel.
