摘要

The microstructures and low-cycle fatigue properties of Al-Li alloys with and without Sc addition were investigated. The results showed that the addition of Sc in Al-Li alloy can change its microstructure conspicuously, and improve its low-cycle fatigue properties. Sc addition to Al-Li alloy decreases the growth rate of δ' (Al_3Li) particles, and promotes the precipitation of the S' (Al_2CuMg) phase. In addition, new strengthening phases, such as Al_3Sc, Al_3Li/Al_3Sc and Al_3Li/Al_3(Sc,Zr), also precipitate in Al-Li alloy with Sc addition, which is the main reason for the improvement of the low-cycle fatigue properties of Al-Li-Sc alloy.
