摘要

In this paper, we study the behavior of the B-site behavior with the incorporation of Sn~(4+) ion in (Ca_(0.8)Sr_(0.2))TiO_3 ceramics. An excess of Sn~(4+) resulted in the formation of a secondary phase of CaSnO_3 and SrSnO_3 affecting the microwave dielectric properties of the (Ca_(0.8)Sr_(0.2))(Sn_xTi_(1-x))O_3 ceramics. The dielectric properties of the (Ca_(0.8)Sr_(0.2))(Sn_xTi_(1-x))O_3 ceramics were improved because of the solid solu-tion of Sn~(4+) substitution in the B-site. The temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (τ_f) of the (Ca_(0.8)Sr_(0.2))(Sn_xTi_(1-x))O_3 ceramics also improved with increasing Sn content.
