摘要

A genetic algorithm approach to curve-curve intersection is presented. The method distributes points randomly on each curve, forms couples with two points, one on each curve, and applies a genetic algorithm to create generations of pairs that converge to an intersection point. The algorithm is implemented for parametric curves although only curve point computation is required. The approach is general in that no special cases, e.g. tangential intersections, need to be handled.
