摘要

This paper presents an alternative method of adaptive beamforming based on back-propagation algorithm for synthesis of one-dimensional antenna arrays with the prescribed one main-lobe. This synthesis method allows us to impose constraints on phase's excitation coefficients for preferable implementation in practice using digital phase shifters. Successful applications show that the approach can be used as a general tool for pattern synthesis of antenna arrays. To verify the performances of the proposed technique, an 8-element array has been simulated for various types of beam configurations.
