With the recent launch of Acabada ProAc-tiveWear, CBD-infused textiles have come onto the market. The fabric treatment behind these textiles was developed by the supplier of specialty chemicals Devan Chemicals NV, Ronse/Belgium. The company launched its CBD (Cannabidiol) fabric treatment at the Heimtextil 2019 in Frankfurt/Germany as part of their R-Vital range of microencapsulated active ingredients. The range contains active substances like Aloe Vera, Q10, Vitamin E, etc. with CBD being its latest addition. Acabada ProActiveWear from Acabada Active, Roslyn, NY/USA, helps to fight soreness and promote healing. Each garment contains up to 25 g of zero-THC, lab-certified, 99.9% pure CBD, which will allow the benefits to last through 40 high-intensity wear and wash cycles.
