More than 1,700 exhibitors from 45 countries were ready for "Innovating the World of Textiles" at the ITMA 2019 in Barcelona/Spain. Especially in the area of digital textile printing, the competition for the fastest, smartest and most sustainable innovations continues to pick up speed. The high purchase intent of the customers in this year's textile machinery exhibition compared to the low numbers at ITMA 2015 indicate that digital printing technology has emerged from its infancy and that machine manufacturers now offer marketable and production-ready solutions to the current challenges facing the textile industry.
