The framework of the activities of the Tegewa Working Group Textile Pre-treatment has recently been dealing intensively with the issue of the "myth about sulfur". The Working Group took up this topic because viscose-refining customers often complain about the influence of residual sulfur on dyes. Customers from the markets of the member companies are concerned with the question, which type of pre-treatment, e.g. washing, bleaching reductive or oxidative, provide the best remedy.
