Noise pollution is an ever increasing problem around the world. The increased number of vehicles, construction work, large buildings, home appliances, rail transport, airplane and industrial machineries has led to increased noise pollution. Sound absorbing materials are used to control the noise pollution. A more effective implementation of the noise standards would provide a significant improvement of the health and quality of life of citizens.
