Multimedia and interactive presentations from Truetzschler Nonwovens & Man-Made Fibers GmbH, Egelsbach/Germany, give information about line layouts, machinery, applications and end products. Especially highlighted will be the cooperation with Voith Paper GmbH & Co. KG, Heidenheim/Ger-many, in the area of wet-laid and spunlaced nonwovens. Alongside flushable wipes as a main application, tailor-made solutions for other end products will also be presented. A further focus is on new and efficient drying technologies. The Streamliner is a spiral-shaped drum dryer with highest evaporation capacities. The model is best used in non-woven lines producing extremely moist and high density nonwovens. Another pillar of the dryer and oven program is the re-designed multi-drum dryer. The new, modular model is optimized in several respects which result in significant reductions in both thermal and electrical energy consumption.
