With yet another increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors, Techtextil underscored not only its position as the world's leading platform for the sector but also successfully rang in the beginning of the trade fair year of technical textiles. While parts of the sector are already looking forward to ITMA in Milan/Italy, it is well worth taking a brief look back over the 4 days in Frankfurt/Germany - especially with regard to the important product groups of technology, processes and accessories. There were significantly more exhibitors of technologies for the manufacturing of technical textiles and non-wovens at this year's Techtextil. Over 360 companies presented their machines and processes - never before has the textile-machinery segment been represented so comprehensively. This increase in the number of exhibitors shows once again that the market for technical textiles can only continue to grow if, in addition to the materials, companies also choose innovative and sustainable textile machines for making technical yarns, textiles and non-wovens.
