The Indian company Sarex Chemicals Ltd., Mumbai, is displaying a "Do It Yourself" booth, on solutions to rubbing fastness woes. The antimicrobial agent Saraguard-5700 helps to combat the microbes to give germ and odor-free textiles. Further exhibits are e.g. products for ecofriendly PFC-free repellents besides C-6 fluorochemicals, chlorine fastness improvers, and solutions for hydrophilic soft finish, super soft finish, liquid cotton finish. Furthermore, the Textile Finishing Manual will be released featuring a general introduction to chemical finishing with popular functional finishes and interesting new specialty finishes.
