The demand for technical textiles with increased performance combined with sustain-ability leads to a phenomenon such as "adhesion to textile substrates" being increasingly in focus. This article elaborates on the parameters which influence the adhesion of coatings and finishes on the most commonly used textile substrates made of polyamide and polyester.Coating in the textile industry is an application process in which a textile substrate is coated with a film-forming product.
