摘要

Nowadays, textile technologists attempt to achieve yarn production with higher quality as well as with high yarn realization. For the improvement of the production quality, either high quality raw material should be used or the optimum processing parameters should be installed on the processing machinery. Up until now, many modern developments have been carried out on the machines for improving the yarn quality. Now manufacturers are looking for the value addition in the yarn quality by improving processing parameters in the spinning process. In this study the 2 important processing parameters, yam count and twist multiplier, which have a dominant effect on yarn cross-sectional area, were considered for testing the effect on the yarn quality, and an attempt was made to correlate yarn cross-sectional area with yarn quality parameters.
