摘要

The fiber and filament yarn business of Trevi-ra GmbH, Bobingen/Germany, continues to focus on specialties and on customer-specific solutions. It includes in particular flame-retardant fibers, along with bicomponent fibers for nonwovens, low-pill fibers for apparel and PLA fibers (Ingeo). Here customer trials in progress have now reached the production stage. For 2012, Trevira anticipates substantial business in this field. Also the emphasis is on flame-retardant and spun-dyed filament yarns, and on hybrid yarns with a low-melt component (NSK).
