The newly-opened spinning mill Predionica Vucje which was inaugurated in Vucje/Serbia on July 7, 2012, was created as the result of cooperation of domestic and foreign partners. The main production goal in Vucje will be production of wool yarn as well as a line for industrial, worsted and semi-worsted yarn. With around 100 employees, a total of € 1.8 million was invested in the plant, and grants of around € 5,000 were provided by the Ministry of Economy of Serbia and the Agency for Export Promotion. Production capacity is expected to be 400 tons/year with a turnover of approx. €3 million/year.
