摘要

Uzbekistan as a major producer of textile raw materials, such as cotton and silk, has also increased the production of textile products with higher added value. Except for cotton fabric, all textile products increased last year: hosiery +75.2%, knitted fabric +71.3% (21,000 tons), carpets +59.4% (655,000 m~2). Production of man-made fibers and yarn went up by 16,000 tons (+17.6 %). The cotton fiber production rose by 7.5% to 1.1 million tons, while cotton yarn production rose by 19.6% to 186,000 tons. Cotton fabric production was stable with 83.6 million m~2 (-0.7%).
