We are standing shortly before ITMA, a milestone for our industry - not only because we have always seen fantastic new developments at every ITMA - but also because we are celebrating 60 years of innovations since the first ITMA was held in 1951 in Lille/France. The industry has changed dramatically during these years, production capacities have been shifted to countries with low labor costs and low energy costs, however there have also been many new product innovations, especially in technical textiles.
