摘要

The body cools itself by secreting sweat that evaporates from the skin. The role of next-to-skin wear is to absorb the sweat and to enable its diffusion through the fabric, either to the environment or the next clothing layer. The vapor transferred to the environment carries away the latent heat of vaporization and the body cools. The textile material with high absorption and low diffusion ability disables the release of the heat of vaporization.
