The new wall-mounted spray humidifier Mistifier Plus by JS Humidifiers plc, Little-hampton/UK was developed for small textile processing areas up to 1,000 m~3. It sprays up to 6.5 liters of water every hour, using low energy spinning disk technology with an energy consumption of just 230 W/h. Humidity control in the textile industry is essential to eliminate static build-up, improve regain, reduce yarn breakage and suppress airborne dust, fly and lint. The optimum humidity depends on the material being processed but is typically between 60-75% relative humidity.
