Antibacterial flock fibers are required e.g. for cosmetics and dental articles. Thus, the use of silver is a good method. However, a longtime effect when working into the polymer is hardly achievable due to the lack of migration at the fiber surface. Here, the development of novel fibers leads to a solution.
