Environmental issues and the drive toward higher levels of productivity have presented industry with an opportunity. Postforming lines that are now in service demonstrate that blank coating of powder coated flat blanks is an efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally beneficial technology. The continuing challenges presented by environmental regulations, productivity demands, and quality objectives open the way for the use of this new technology in a growing number of applications.
