At Seaga, we are manufacturers of high-quality vending equipment. These machines are used in the sale of soda pop, gum-balls and snacks. This product line adds up to a lot of sheet metal work. Seaga employs approximately 50 people, some of whom are responsible for deburring the rough edges of sheet metal components. For many years deburring was done by hand. This was a time-consuming, tiring job at best. Often, it seems as if the process produced as many cuts and other injuries as it did smooth edges. Deburring definitely was a bottleneck.
