During a recent facility walk through, in the Detroit area, I came across a press operation that I had never seen before and which, quite frankly, seemed to be redundant. "Why are you doing that?" I asked the operations manager. "Because the customer wants it," he replied. "We always do our best to give our customers exactly what they want," he added. "That's how we've managed to stay in business for 75 years!"
