摘要

In this comment I will go through the logic of the Fujimoto and Opocher (2009) contribution, with the purpose to corroborate the economic interpretation of their notion of 'commodity content' and to clarify how this notion fits in Morishima 'optimum [labour] values'.rnLet us state the (linear) programming problems on which Fujimoto and Opocher (2009) and Morishima (1973, chap. 12) base their notions. To simplify analysis and notation we will suppose that just one kind of homogeneous labour exists which is 'reproduced' by just one process consuming a given fixed basket of commodities and that there are no durable consumption goods: although these simplifications exclude peculiar ingredients of the Fujimoto and Opocher work, they are not essential for our purpose.
