At last year's NeoCon, visitors to Hurnanscale's showroom were able to test a prototype for a new ergonomic task light called Infinity, playing with its constant-torque-axis hinges, which allow for free movement as well as precise positioning. This year, that lamp hits the market with a range of additional features, including a dimmer control that lets users customize nine levels of light, and an occupancy sensor that turns the light off when no one is around. Infinity has recently been recognized with a Red Dot award for product design. "It joins Humanscale's impressive lineup of products with the coveted Red Dot seal, including the Horizon lamp," says Tina Brennan, senior brand director at the company, "seamlessly integrating technology into a refined yot highly flexible form."
