摘要

The above issue of Micro-electronics Reliability contains selected papers presented at the 12th international conference on thermal, mechanical and multi-physics simulation and experiments in micro-electronics and micro-systems (EuroSimE). The conference was held in Linz, Austria on 18-20th of April 2011 with help of the local organizer FH OEsterreich (Pr Mario Jungwirth) in Kaufmaennischer Verein at Linz. This time the conference was attended by 140 scientists and engineers from all over the world giving them ability to spend time at technical sessions and poster presentations and last but not the least allowed possibility of exchanging the experience and knowledge between the world class professionals through common social events and divers technical meetings. Traditionally on Sunday, a day before the official conference opening, this time 5 courses and workshops were organized, which were devoted to professional trainings. Additionally through the whole conference some software exhibitors (CADFEM, SIMUL1A and 1NSIDIX) were presenting their products having an uncountable number of fruitful discussions with the conference attendants.
