The incidence of cerebrovascular diseases caused by cognitive impairment and dementia may increase with global aging in population. Used to cover a wide range of Vascular Involvement Related to Cognitive and Dementia (VCID) Cognitive syndrome begins regardless of the cause of different diverse groups and factors of blood vessels. In fully Vascular Dementia (VaD) the dementia has progressed from VCID to the most severe stage of mental retardation. Recent studies on Neurovascular Function (NVU) function have shown that NVU is dysfunctional and can lead to neurodegenerative diseases.
