In this, our last print issue of 2019, Military & Aerospace Electronics charts some of the most influential enabling technologies, defense applications, and military programs driving the aerospace and defense industry into the 21st century's third decade. Those involved in the defense electronics industry — from component suppliers to prime systems integrators — have been feeling confident in our industry for the past couple of years, and for good reason. Defense budgets rarely have been higher, military technology innovation is on the upswing, and major new systems are ready for deployment, with influential new ones only a few years away.
