The Army General Staff has launched a project called «FIT 2005 - Integrated Land Force 2005», through which it intends to guide the Service's process of evolution, in order to obtain -without solution of continuity -an operational instrument in line with those of the main allied Countries, and functional to the presumable tasks that the Army will have to perform in the next twenty years.%Lo Stato Maggiore dell'Esercito ha lanciato un progetto denominato «FIT 2025 - Forza Integrata Terrestre 2025» con il quale intende guidare il processo di evoluzione della Forza Armata al fine di disporre, senza soluzioni di continuità, di uno strumento operativo in linea con quelli dei principali Paesi alleati e funzionale ai compiti che, presumibilmente, dovrà assolvere nei prossimi venti anni.
