Larry Raines, Meggitt Training Systems' Vice President of Virtual Systems, gave Dennis-P. Merklinghaus an insight on the company, its continued, long-term partnerships, important virtual training systems, and Meggitt's cost-effective and flexible growth path for evolving customers' requirements. At AUSA 2015, Meggitt Training Systems highlighted the system the company will start to deliver early next year to the US Army. "It is based on the FATS® M100 product that we have had at a couple of shows, incorporating marksmanship, judgmental videos, traditional computer generated imagery and third-party virtual simulation products," Meggitt Training Systems' Vice President of Virtual Systems, Larry Raines explained. "We are providing 3D graphics with Crytek-based 3D marksmanship lanes, increasing the visual fidelity of the trainer, thereby increasing the immersion of the soldier, so it looks like the range he is on when he goes through his Initial Entry Training (IFF) programme."
