Airborne Systems, a division of HDT Global, has showcased its next generation of military parachute systems and latest technologies in Guided Precision Aerial Delivery Systems at CANSEC 2013 in Ottawa from 29-30 May. Airborne Systems, a world leader in parachute systems, designs, manufactures and supports next generation of military parachutes including the T-11 recently procured by the Canadian government; the INTRUDER, which has been type classified as the RA-1 to replace the MC-4 as the primary tactical parachute by the US Army and begins fielding to the US Army in January 2014; and Firefly, a Guided Precision Aerial Delivery System.
