Marine Alutech, a Finnish dockyard, has selected Beth-El Zikhron Yaaqov Industries as partner for the delivery of Ventilation-/NBCFiltration Systems, as well as the Air Conditioning Systems for its contract with the Finnish Navy. Under the contract, Marine Alutech will deliver 12 fast patrol boats type WATERCAT M18 AMC (Armoured Modular Craft), which are equipped with Beth-El's VMSeries of systems, which offer protection against NBC Warfare agents, as well as Toxic Industrial Chemicals. Due to the longevity of the filters the units can run around the clock for months and years without interruption. The VMseries offer an air-flow rate in the filtration mode (with NBC-Filter cartridge) of 60-360m3/h and in the ventilation mode (with a fine dust filter) of 80-640m3/h. That allows an overpressure of 500-1,100Pa inside a compartment in the filtration mode. The cyclone system can filter 98% of the dust.
