On the first day of the 2013 Paris Air Show, a new alliance between CAE and Lockheed Martin was announced, when officials from both companies signed an MoU for F-35 LIGHTNING Ⅱ training system support and services in Canada. CAE and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) have signed an MoU to pursue opportunities to integrate CAE's simulation systems with GA-ASI's RPA for the purpose of offering international customers a comprehensive training solution. They will explore collaboration to develop an UAS Mission Training System for PREDATOR B/ MQ-9/REAPER, PREDATOR C AVENGER, and PREDATOR XP. EADS is now called Airbus Group, after its core planemaking subsidiary, and will combine its defence and space activities in one division together with Airbus Military transporters, currently twinned with passenger jets.
