Among the 26 new technologies that are designed to enhance the AH-64D APACHE LONGBOW Ill's capabilities in combat and reduce maintenance is the UAS Tactical Common Data Link Assembly. (Photo: Boeing) flight path of UAS. UTA-equipped APACHE aircrews will be able operate a UAS at long range and receive real-time, high-definition streaming video on their multi-function displays. This February, the LONGBOW Ltd Liability Company, a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman announced the delivery of the first production UTA to the US Army for the AB3. The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency has notified the US Congress a number of possible FMS of the AB3 to overseas services, including Saudi Arabia.
