Indeed, it is worth noting that 40-60% of the cost of a modern fighter is represented by its on-board avionic package and embedded software.rnFundamental requirements such as low observability, first-look/ first-shoot/ first-kill capability, reduced pilot's workload, and simplified maintenance to name but a few, can only be satisfied through the large-scale application of the most advanced avionic technologies.
