The US Marine Corps is fully aware of the fiscal challenges facing our Nation and has critically examined and streamlined our force needs for the future. By the end of 2012, we will complete initial service wide implementation of our Enterprise Resource Planning System-Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC). GCSS-MC will significantly improve our inventory accountability and contribute to clean audit requirements. We are proud of our reputation for frugality, and remain one of the best values for the defence dollar.
