In keeping with India's long term vision of emerging as a military power supported by a vibrant economic growth and rapid technological strides, the Indian Navy (InN) has drawn up an ambitious plan to transform itself into a three dimensional, network enabled force to take care of the Indian "interests and assets" across the high seas of the world.
