The Czech National Armament Office (NUV), that will be established in 2012, will prepare almost all MoD orders. There will be only a few exceptions, such as routine operational purchases of fuel or spare parts. By creating the office, the influence of go-betweens, through whom the military has made the purchases, will be significantly limited. Purchases through go-betweens have been targets of media criticism over their exorbitant prices and dubious character.
