Just as in 2010, the year 2011 has brought about fundamental changes ensuing from the effects of the economic crisis, as well as by the consequent decision to radically reduce the MoD's budget. The reduction essentially reflects in all activity areas of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic (ACR), including day-today support. Infrastructure development, delivering key materiel to units, modernisation of old equipment, and the implementation of new systems into individual branches will need to spread over extended periods of time.
