in order to secure trie interests ot UenmarK in and from the air, we aim to be capable of participating in the full spectrum of air-warfare, in a global context, at all levels of conflict. This is the foundation on which our operations are based and is in accordance with the Danish Defence Concept as a whole. Our mission: we execute and support air operations for the Danish Defence Forces anywhere; expediti-ously, precisely, and effectively. The Royal Danish Air Force (RDAF) currently consists of units of fighter jets, transport aircraft, helicopters, air surveillance, C2, combat support, and an expeditionary air staff. The operational units are sustained by a service-specific training structure providing trained personnel ranging from airmen through non-commissioned officers to junior staff level officers. The capabilities of the RDAF are based on four main pillars:
