Archangel Systemsy and The Fredeicks Company have recently introduced into the defence marketplace a new Vehicle Predictive Roll-Over System (V-PRO). V-PRO provides both auditory and visual warnings of impending rollover to drivers of Light Utility Trucks (LTV). This 3 step system: 1)continuously measures vehicle dynamics, 2) computes rollover risk 100 times per second, & 3) sends rollover risk cues to all LTV crew members. According to Dr. Katherine Greene, Archangel's President, there is a critical need to prevent rollovers of Light Utility Trucks used by military personnel. For example mine-resistant vehicles (MRAP) used by the the Marine Corps and Army have experienced more than 230 rollovers between November 2007 and January 2010, resulting in 13 fatalities.
