As a matter of priority, Afghanistan and Kosovo remain the primary focus of Czech foreign-deployed operations. The Czech Republic presently contributes forces to NATO-led operations of ISAF in Afghanistan and KFOR in Kosovo.rnUnder the mandate as authorised by the Government, up to 480 personnel of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic perform their duties in operation ISAF in Afghanistan in 2009. Besides the Provincial Reconstruction Team in the province of Logar, Czech contributions also include a light CBRN defence unit. In addition, one hundred members of the Special Operations Forces will continue their involvement in Operation "Enduring Freedom" till the end of 2009.
