During the recent Aero India Air Show in Bangalore, MT interviewed Mr. Eddy de la Motte, Director, Gripen International India about the current status of the GRIPEN IN bid for the Indian Air Force's MMRCA competition.rnMT: What is the current status of your bid for the MMRCA programme? There has been certain media speculation about the results of the technical evaluation process.rnde la Motte: We are still waiting to hear from the MoD as to the next step in the bidding process, which is the flight trials for operational evaluation. After we submitted the detailed response to the RFP last year, we have been asked to provide certain clarifications and we have held a couple of meeting with Indian authorities regarding the same.
