Protection equipment, including body armour and helmets, continues to be a key asset for law enforcement and special unit officers. Demand for such protection looks set to increase in the future as the threat from firearm-related terrorism increases and widespread political uncertainty drives groups towards rioting and greater civil unrest. The safety of security personnel remains paramount to any organisation, especially as they often risk their lives on the frontline in order to ensure law and order is maintained. Key to this is appropriate protective equipment when officers are tasked for dangerous duties, such as crowd/riot control and terrorist response.
