Dan Gelston is Group President, Defence & Security for CAE, a global leader in simulation, training and operational support. With a background that includes service as a US Army armour and intelligence officer, and an impressive 20+ years' experience in the international defence and security arena, he has been at the helm of CAE's defence and security business since August last year, but has already identified and is addressing themes for innovation and development that will continue to drive this always noteworthy enterprise. His thesis? That preparing for a Great Power Competition necessitates more multi-domain synthetic training.
