Dairy UK member Rodda's has been namec Dairy Manufacturer of the Year at the Food Manufacturing Excellent Awards in London. In the face of tough economic conditions, Rodda's has invested heavily in upgrading its factory and processes and improving its national distribution, which has resulted in a 23% increase in sales. The "truly holistic approach to raising standards, both of its people and facilities" was praised by the judges, as was the innovative approach taken to the development of its frozen clotted cream product.
