Sales of organic dairy have bucked the trend. They have increased market share marginally and now accounts for more than one third of organic sales overall.rnWithin the overall organic sales pattern, dairy has proved to be the exception to the rule. In 2009, organic food sales took a tumble with a fall just short of 13% across all products compared with 2008. But to put this into some kind of perspective, the fall followed several years of double digit growth and the Soil Association, whose recent annual report on the organics sector highlighted these figures, expects growth to return in 2010 at between 2% and 5%.
