I sat with a group of global dairy economists in Brussels last month, all speaking positively about the future. I meet these guys every six months or so. I find that their mood tends to reflect the milk price. Happy and smiling on the rise, and vice versa on the slump. So it was all smiles this time round. For a while, I thought that even the Scandinavians would buy me a drink, but that's all together too far fetched.
