The International Dairy Federation has set up an expert group on animal feeds to advise on sustainability, nutrition and food safety.rnThe group will identify possible topics for new work, and develop plans to tackle them. These topics will include producing an inventory of feed systems used all over the world, and to find ways of improving the sustainability of milk production. The group will also investigate the need for new test methods which could be applied to food or feed in order to quantify the effects of changes to feed regimes.
